My Secret TreeHouse

Yesterday marked the end of Nebraska’s 9 day rifle deer season. Even though I didn’t fill my buck tag, I still enjoyed the few days I was able to go. I took my nieces hunting, and enjoyed that a lot.

My favorite hunting place is in a beautiful cottonwood tree. It is a peaceful spot that overlooks the river. I look forward to hunting and the feelings of tranquility I am overcome with just by sitting and taking in Mother Nature at its finest.

Next month is black powder season, so maybe I’ll get my buck then!
